Beginning in Cape Town, the journey explores the city’s layered history and dramatic natural setting before travelling inland to the vineyards of the Cape Winelands. From there, the pace slows further through the semi-arid landscapes of the Klein Karoo and into a private game reserve, where wildlife and wide horizons take centre stage. The final chapter unfolds in Mauritius, where days are shaped by warmth, water and rest.
Cape Town guarantees a striking introduction to South Africa. Set between mountain and ocean, the city offers plenty in the way of historic neighbourhoods, creative energy and natural landmarks.
Your first days allow time to settle in and explore at a comfortable pace. Visits may include local food markets, where daily life and regional flavours come together, and time spent discovering the city’s central districts. One day is reserved for Cape Town’s most defining feature: Table Mountain. Ascending by cable car reveals sweeping views across the city, coastline and, on clear days, out toward Robben Island.
Evenings are unstructured, leaving space to enjoy the city’s atmosphere, dining scene or simply the changing light across the landscape.
Leaving the coast behind, your journey progresses into the heart of the Cape Winelands. Stellenbosch is defined by vineyards, historic architecture and a slower rhythm of life.

Days follow a gentle safari rhythm. Early morning and evening game drives provide opportunities to see animals in their natural environment, while the hours between are left for rest, reflection or quiet time overlooking the landscape. Activities may also include canoeing along the river or visiting the nearby coastline.

The final transition is from bush to beach. Flying east to Mauritius, the atmosphere softens immediately as the journey concludes on the island’s eastern shore.
