On the shores of Turtle Bay Marine Park in the historic Balaclava area, the resort spans ten hectares of tropical gardens with direct access to the protected waters of the bay and some of the best snorkelling on the island.
The 190 rooms and suites are built around Westin’s six global wellness pillars, giving the property a clarity of purpose that most resort hotels lack. Five dining venues, a Heavenly Spa, two pools including an adults-only infinity pool, and a full watersports programme cover every mood and moment of the day.
The Retreat Bar holds Mauritius’s largest selection of local and international rum brands, a detail worth knowing before arrival, and rounds out a resort that takes wellness seriously without sacrificing the pleasures of a well-run beach hotel.
Five distinct venues cover every mood and moment of the day. Seasonal Tastes handles breakfast and themed dinners, while Kangan delivers modern Indian cooking and Fusion covers Japanese-inspired cuisine with live teppanyaki. The Beach Grill serves casual lunches and barbecue dinners directly on the waterfront, and Mystique runs Pan Asian dishes by day and crafted cocktails by evening. The Retreat Bar holds Mauritius’s largest selection of local and international rum.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin offers a full menu of massages, body wraps, and targeted treatments, with a private garden for relaxation before and after each session. The fitness centre operates 24 hours and is equipped with the latest Westin Workout kit. Two pools, including the adults-only Whisper Zone infinity pool, complete a wellness offering that extends through every part of the resort rather than a single building.
The protected waters of Turtle Bay Marine Park lie directly in front of the resort, making snorkelling, glass-bottom boat trips, sailing, and scuba diving as straightforward as walking to the beach. Catamaran cruises, pedal boats, and a full watersports programme give the days as much or as little structure as required. The Westin Kids Club covers ages four to twelve.
Complete with modern furnishings and a comfortable living space, each room includes a king or queen bed, separate shower and bath, and a private balcony fitted for three guests.
