The Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo occupies the tip of a private peninsula in Guanacaste, on Costa Rica’s northwestern Pacific coast. Two golden-sand beaches flank the property, with four pools stepping down toward the ocean. The 181 rooms, suites, and private residences are finished in indigenous wood and stone, most positioned for direct ocean or forest-canopy views.
The gated Peninsula Papagayo community surrounds the resort, with the Arnold Palmer-designed golf course, surf breaks at Witch’s Rock, and adventure trails all accessible from the property. Liberia International Airport sits around 26 km south, with most transfers taking 35 minutes.
Eight restaurants and bars give the dining programme serious range, led by Pesce for Italian and Bahia for wood-fired Latin grill. The Wellness Shala and a private Wellness Villa cover the spa side, with treatments drawing on Costa Rican ingredients including volcanic clay, cacao, and coffee.
