The world without distraction.

At a glance

Anse Chastanet stands on the south-western coast of St Lucia on a private 600-acre estate, bordering two beaches and a designated marine reserve with coral reefs offshore. The Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rise directly above. It is the sister resort to Jade Mountain, with guests of both properties having full access to each other’s facilities.

Created by architect and owner Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort was built around the principle that the surrounding landscape should be part of the guest experience. Rooms are spread across the hillside and beside the beach with open-sided designs and wraparound balconies, bringing the trade winds and the views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea directly into the space.

Four restaurants with daily-changing menus, a PADI 5 Star scuba operation steps from the beach, 12 miles of jungle biking and hiking trails, an organic farm, a chocolate laboratory, and a spa drawing on the natural landscape of the estate complete the offering.

The Treehouse Restaurant serves breakfast daily and dinner most evenings in two open-air treehouses overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The dinner menu celebrates tropical world cuisine, changes daily, and is served in a candlelit setting surrounded by original artwork.

Trou au Diable stands on Anse Chastanet beach, serving lunch and dinner daily, with evenings alternating between Apsara, a fusion of East Indian and Caribbean cooking, and a casual beach grill at the water’s edge, and a Caribbean culinary celebration every Tuesday. Emeralds is the resort’s wholly vegan restaurant, offering a modern tapas-style menu as part of the nightly dining rotation, and Jungle Beach Grill on Anse Mamin, the second beach, serves relaxed lunches.

  • Spa and Wellness

The spa operates across two facilities, Kai Belté on Anse Chastanet beach and Kai Mer, a cottage overlooking the Caribbean, both offering massages, body treatments, and beauty services drawing on the natural landscape and organic produce of the estate. In-room treatments are also available.

Daily yoga, water sports, guided estate walks, art classes, and weekly rum mixology and chocolate tasting events are all included for guests. Scuba St Lucia, the PADI 5 Star dive operation, operates a full daily diving programme and a coral nursery initiative directly from the beach.

St Lucia packs more variety into a single island than almost anywhere else in the Caribbean. Over the course of a week, it is possible to move between yacht-filled bays, volcanic peaks, rainforest-covered mountains, hidden beaches, and some of the region’s most sought-after hotels, all without ever feeling rushed.
