Secrets Akumal sits on Akumal Bay in the Riviera Maya, around an hour south of Cancún International Airport and walking distance from one of Mexico’s most famous sea turtle beaches. The resort is adults-only and part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, operating on the Unlimited-Luxury programme with food, drinks, entertainment, and concierge service all built into the rate.

The Secrets Spa covers over 18,000 sqft, with a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, steam room, and bracing showers through the wet area. The full-service salon handles skin and hair treatments, manicures, and pedicures.
Treatments are available indoors or outdoors, including singles and couples massages. The signature 105-minute Water Journey Treatment is a curated experience using scrubs, muds, and calming masks alongside the hydrotherapy facilities.
Secrets Akumal is on Akumal Bay in the Riviera Maya, on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo. The resort is around an hour south of Cancún International Airport, 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen, and within easy reach of the Mayan archaeological sites of Tulum and Cobá.
