Set in Pointe Milou on the island’s northern coast, this is understated French Caribbean hospitality at its most considered: clean minimalist design, the largest freshwater infinity pool on the island, and service that operates with a precision most Caribbean resorts struggle to match.
The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport, which on St Barths means switchback roads and views that make the famously short landing feel worthwhile. L’Orient Beach is directly below, and St Jean, the island’s most social stretch of sand, is visible across the bay. A rental car, which the concierge will have waiting, opens up the rest of the island in under 20 minutes in any direction.
La Plage du Christo is the open-air restaurant that curves alongside the pool, which means even breakfast has a view worth sitting in front of. The kitchen works in French Caribbean territory: local fish ceviche, lobster rolls, and a menu that shifts with what is in season and what came in off the boats.
At dusk, a poolside cocktail hour pulls guests out of their rooms and into the kind of unhurried early evening that this island does particularly well.
The Sisley Spa is the in-house wellness facility, drawing on the French maison’s signature plant-based skincare and treatment range across a full body and facial menu.
The island’s largest freshwater infinity pool anchors the social and recovery side, with the hillside position giving uninterrupted ocean views from the loungers throughout the day.
Pointe Milou sits on the northern tip of the island, a residential hillside neighbourhood that feels removed from the beach club circuit without being far from it.
L’Orient Beach is directly below the property, and the surrounding area is quiet, with the kind of unhurried Caribbean atmosphere that the busier parts of the island trade away in peak season.
Upper category suites add separate living rooms, vaulted ceilings, and outdoor hot tubs.
The additional space makes a meaningful difference for longer stays, and the elevated position on the hillside pushes the views further across the water.
The villa offering covers four-bedroom properties named Nina, Pinta, and Maria, plus the newer Villa Saba, a five-bedroom standalone added in 2025 with its own onsite manager and private pool.
