In Lisbon, centuries of history unfold along cobblestone streets lined with pastel façades and ocean views. Private tours reveal the capital’s layered past, while intimate Fado evenings and hands-on cooking experiences give you a flavour of the Portuguese spirit. Beyond the city, the Alentejo boasts rolling vineyards and ancient towns, where wine estates welcome you for tastings and long, sun-soaked lunches.
The journey continues north to Porto, Portugal’s iconic riverside city. Stay at The Yeatman, Portugal’s most celebrated wine hotel, and explore the world’s oldest demarcated wine region – the Douro Valley. Between cellar doors, scenic drives, and relaxed dining, each day invites you to slow down and savour the incredible food and wine culture.
Arrive in Lisbon, where your private driver escorts you to Pousada de Lisboa, a historic boutique hotel overlooking one of the city’s grandest squares. Spend your first evening dining at one of Lisbon’s celebrated restaurants – we recommend the classic Tavares or the Michelin-starred Belcanto – before relaxing into your stunning hotel room.
The next day, explore Alfama, the city’s oldest district, on a private guided tour. You’ll explore narrow alleys lined with azulejo tiles, visit Lisbon Cathedral, and take in the views from Miradouro Portas do Sol. Travel north by private transfer to Porto, where you’ll stay at The Yeatman, a luxurious wine hotel overlooking the Douro River.
