The Capaldi sits on a four-hectare former olive farm in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, roughly thirty-five minutes from Marrakech. The property is adults-only, with no children under twelve, which keeps the pace unhurried.
Twenty-three rooms and suites sit across the grounds alongside two private villas, with two pools, a spa, a private cinema, and a restaurant built around seasonal, largely local produce.
The design leans toward the feeling of staying at a well-off friend’s country home rather than checking into a hotel: fireplaces, fresh flowers, and a deliberate absence of in-room televisions in favor of the property’s own cinema.
The restaurant draws on both international and Moroccan cooking, with produce sourced largely from the surrounding farm and region, served either in the main dining room or outside under the property’s olive trees. A private chef can also prepare in-villa dining for guests staying in one of the two villas.
The spa offers traditional Moroccan treatments alongside more contemporary therapies, and the two pools, one heated year-round, give guests a quiet spot to spend an entire day without leaving the grounds. The property’s private cinema doubles as a well-being feature in its own right: a genuinely restful alternative to an evening out.
Dune-buggy trips into the nearby Agafay Desert, watersports on Lake Lalla Takerkoust, and guided treks into the surrounding mountains are all arranged through the property. Cooking lessons focused on Moroccan dishes are also available for guests who want a more hands-on afternoon.
Twenty-three individually designed rooms and suites across the main property, most with garden or mountain views and several with private heated pools attached to the room itself.
Two standalone villas within the grounds, each offering full privacy for a family or small group, with the option of a private chef for in-villa dining.
