Iceland is a magical travel destination with some of the most unique geography that a country can offer. Begin in Reykjavik, where Iceland’s geological story unfolds across the Reykjanes Peninsula. Explore steaming fumaroles, volcanic cliffs, and shifting tectonic plates before tasting your way through the capital’s thriving food scene. The south coast brings cinematic contrasts – roaring waterfalls, windswept beaches, and a private ATV ride to a hidden cave for lunch in the wild.
Further inland, the journey leads deep into the Highlands. Here, steaming valleys and rust-red mountains reveal a geothermal wonderland few visitors ever reach. End your adventure where Iceland’s history and landscapes converge at Thingvellir, the dramatic meeting point of two continents.
Day 1
Meet your private driver-guide and begin your journey through the Reykjanes Peninsula, a landscape shaped by millennia of volcanic activity. Walk between continents on the Bridge Between Continents, explore the colorful geothermal fields of Seltún, and feel the Atlantic spray at Brimketill’s lava-carved cliffs. Visit the steaming vents of Gunnuhver before returning to your hotel in Reykjavik for an evening at leisure.
Day 2
Join a local guide for a culinary walk through Reykjavik’s vibrant food scene. Sample traditional Icelandic dishes, visit small family-run eateries, and learn how Viking preservation techniques have inspired modern Nordic cuisine. In the afternoon, board a high-speed RIB for a whale-watching excursion across Faxaflói Bay, keeping an eye out for humpbacks and puffins as you glide alongside Reykjavik’s dramatic coastline.
Day 3

Day 5

Follow winding trails past hot springs and steaming rivers, stopping for a picnic lunch in nature. This is Iceland at its most elemental – quiet, surreal, and deeply moving. Return to your lodge for a peaceful evening of relaxation.
Day 6
Leave the Highlands behind and return toward Reykjavik, stopping at Fridheimar Greenhouse for a farm-to-table experience. Learn about sustainable cultivation and enjoy a freshly prepared tomato-based lunch beneath the glass domes. Continue to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Iceland’s history and geology meet. Walk through the rift valley before arriving in Reykjavik for your final night in the city.
