You’ll soak in geothermal lagoons, walk through volcanic fields, and venture deep into the heart of a glacier. As night falls, look to the sky as the Northern Lights shift above the horizon.

Day 1
Arrive in Iceland and meet your private driver for a smooth transfer to Reykjavik. On the way, stop at the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa surrounded by lava fields. Unwind in its mineral-rich waters and let the natural warmth ease your journey into Icelandic life. In the evening, join a small-group Northern Lights chase, travelling beyond the city to watch the aurora dance across the Arctic night sky.
Day 2
Spend the day discovering Reykjavik at your own pace. Visit Hallgrímskirkja Church for panoramic views, stroll along the harbour, and stop by landmarks such as Höfði House and Lake Tjörnin. Explore local art galleries, boutique shops, and cafés, or sample Icelandic cuisine in one of the city’s acclaimed restaurants. As night falls, relax back at your hotel or continue your Northern Lights search.
Day 3
Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Akureyri, often called the capital of North Iceland. After settling in, set out on another Northern Lights excursion, heading into the stillness of Iceland’s northern countryside. With your expert guide, learn about the science and stories behind the aurora while photographing this extraordinary natural display.
Day 4
Explore the Lake Mývatn region, known for its volcanic and geothermal landscapes. Visit Goðafoss Waterfall, the ‘Waterfall of the Gods,’ then wander through the dramatic lava fields of Dimmuborgir and the bubbling Hverir Mud Pools. Stand at the divide between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates before unwinding in the Mývatn Nature Baths, surrounded by steam and snow-covered peaks.
Day 5
Fly back to Reykjavik and travel west into the Silver Circle, a region filled with geothermal and cultural highlights. Witness the steam vents of Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, and see the beautiful Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. End the day with a soothing soak at the Krauma Hot Baths, before continuing to your countryside hotel, perfectly positioned for Northern Lights viewing.
Day 6
Head deep into Iceland’s frozen heart with a guided excursion to Langjökull Glacier, the country’s second largest. Ride across the glacier in a specially equipped vehicle before stepping inside a vast man-made ice cave. Surrounded by brilliant blue ice, you’ll gain insight into the glacier’s history and movement from expert guides. Return to your hotel for a final night in Iceland – and perhaps one last chance to see the aurora illuminate the sky.
Day 7
After breakfast, your private driver transfers you to Keflavik Airport for your onward flight. Reflect on a week of remarkable contrasts – steaming hot springs, frozen glaciers, and luminous skies – that make Iceland one of the world’s most unforgettable destinations.
