The Westin Bora Bora Resort and Spa sits on a private stretch of the island’s lagoon, with overwater bungalows extending above the water and beachside villas set along the shoreline. Mount Otemanu rises directly opposite, in view from almost every point across the property. The resort is at the more active, experience-led end of what Bora Bora has to offer.
The Eco Centre is the distinguishing feature. The on-property sanctuary cares for rescued and rehabilitating sea turtles, with guests able to learn from the resident team and observe the conservation work first-hand. It is the only operation of its kind on the island.
There are four restaurants and a bar at the resort, led by Maere as the signature dining experience and a French bistro called Tipanier. Heavenly Spa by Westin and the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio offer a wealth of wellness options, with a private lagoon giving access to water sports at the resort.
