At a glance

Raffles Seychelles is a five-star resort of 86 spacious private pool villas on the island of Praslin.

Raffles spreads across a hillside above Anse Takamaka in the north of Praslin, the Seychelles’ second-largest island, a 15-minute flight from Mahé. All 86 villas have a private pool and a balcony over the garden, ocean, or hills, and they are large enough to work for couples and families alike.

Dining covers six restaurants and lounges, led by the Mediterranean Losean, with themed evenings, a rooftop terrace, and private beach dinners. One of the largest spas in the Seychelles sits across the hillside, with outdoor treatment rooms, two infinity pools, a gym, and the Sugar Palm kids’ club. Praslin puts you within reach of Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai, and the resort handles hikes, snorkelling, diving, and yacht trips. Mahé is a short flight or helicopter ride away.

    Food and Drink

Raffles covers six restaurants and lounges. Losean is the main draw, with Mediterranean food and a strong seafood buffet, and the kitchen rotates themed evenings through sushi, Indian, and Arabic menus across the week.

A rooftop terrace and shisha lounge, a pool restaurant and bar, in-villa dining, and private dinners on the beach extend the offer. With several venues, dinner can change location from one night to the next.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

The Raffles Spa is one of the largest in the Seychelles, built across the hillside with private outdoor treatment rooms looking over the ocean and gardens. The menu extends from massages and facials to longer signature rituals, with a beauty salon alongside.

For activity, two infinity pools, a fitness centre, and yoga sit alongside easy swimming and snorkelling off Anse Takamaka below the resort.

    Location

Raffles sits in the north of Praslin, the Seychelles’ second-largest island, above Anse Takamaka and a few minutes from Anse Lazio, regularly rated one of the best beaches in the world.

The Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO-listed palm forest, and the giant tortoises of Curieuse Island are close by. Praslin is about a 15-minute flight or helicopter transfer from Mahé and the main international airport, or a longer ferry.

Seychelles occupies a singular position in the luxury travel imagination. The beaches here aren’t merely beautiful; they’re primordial, their granite boulders worn smooth over millions of years, their sands shifting between shades of white and pink depending on the light. The resorts that have established themselves on these shores understand their responsibility: to frame this […]

Kenya’s most compelling honeymoon itinerary moves between two entirely different worlds: the wildlife-dense plains of the Maasai Mara and the ancient coral-stone quietude of Lamu Island. Together, they form a journey that is both dramatically varied and precisely calibrated for couples seeking depth over spectacle.

While the Masai Mara dominates Kenya’s safari conversation, Laikipia Plateau has quietly assembled one of Africa’s most compelling luxury wildlife destinations across its network of private conservancies. Here, exclusivity is structural rather than marketed; it takes the form of land, access, and a conservation model that keeps the crowds out by design.
