Hotel Kia Ora Resort and Spa sits on the northeastern coast of Rangiroa atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, positioned between the two passes of Avatoru and Tiputa. The lagoon stretches across the horizon in every direction. The configuration runs 58 bungalows across three settings: within the coconut grove, along the beach, and overwater above the lagoon.

Rangiroa is one of French Polynesia’s premier diving destinations. The two passes draw sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, and reef fish through them in significant numbers, particularly the Tiputa Pass, where the current pulls in everything the reef has to offer.

Hotel Kia Ora sits at the access point for all of it. The on-site dive operation runs every day, and lagoon excursions sit within the wider activity program. Te Rairoa Restaurant is the main dining venue, combining classical French technique with traditional island ingredients and local flavors. The setting faces the lagoon.

The overwater Miki Miki Bar overlooks the water directly and serves cocktails and lighter meals, the natural sunset spot, with the open-sided structure putting the lagoon in view from every seat.
Spa and Wellness

Poekura Spa sits within the coconut grove at the heart of the resort, set away from the lagoon-facing public areas, a more secluded garden setting than the rest of the property.

The Aito Fitness Center handles standard equipment for guests maintaining a training routine through their stay. The dive operation, lagoon excursions, and lagoon swimming all extend the wider wellness offering beyond the spa itself.
Location

Rangiroa is one of the largest atolls in the world, in the Tuamotu Archipelago around 300 kilometers northeast of Tahiti. Hotel Kia Ora sits on the northeastern coast, between the Avatoru and Tiputa passes.

The Beach Deluxe Bungalow covers 923 sq ft just steps from the lagoon. The bedroom faces the water directly, with an outdoor bathtub and a large terrace fronting the lagoon, including a private plunge pool for the highest beach-level category at the resort.
