At a glance

Motu Tehotu, the private islet that holds the Four Seasons Resort, Bora Bora, along a pristine coastline. Mount Otemanu frames the resort from almost every point. Overwater bungalow suites extend directly above the water, while beachfront villa estates spread across stretches of white-sand shoreline, some spanning over an acre.

A resident marine biologist runs lagoon snorkel tours through the resort’s coral garden, and private dining is available on a dedicated white-sand motu reached by outrigger canoe at sunset. The cultural program threads Polynesian tradition through the stay, from Tahitian legend-telling to the Tamari’i portrait collection by photographer Sadry Ghacir.

Five accommodation categories range from one-bedroom overwater suites to three-bedroom beachfront estates with outdoor kitchens and enclosed gardens. Te Mahana Spa caps the wellness side with seven treatment rooms and an overwater couples’ suite.

In detail

  • Food and Drink

    Food and Drink

Private dining is the differentiator here. Outrigger canoes transfer guests to a private white-sand motu for champagne and a gourmet dinner at sunset, and the resort’s stretch of beach is available for romantic meals on private sand.

In-bungalow dining is available throughout, with the kitchen sending courses across the lagoon by boat or buggy depending on villa position. Arii Moana handles the signature restaurant slot for à la carte dining in a fixed setting.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

Te Mahana Spa is at the highest point of the resort, with seven treatment rooms, two open-air pavilions, and an overwater couples’ suite with glass-panel floors above the lagoon.

Treatments draw on Polynesian tradition and indigenous ingredients including Tahitian black pearl powder. A lagoon-side yoga deck, group fitness classes, and a resort medical team complete the wellness offering.
