Crystal Energy is a recently renovated boutique hotel within the Out Of The Blue Capsis Elite Resort, a five-star complex on a private peninsula on the north coast of Crete, around 20 minutes from Heraklion city and airport next to the fishing village of Agia Pelagia.
The hotel covers 70 suites in a modern-art style, with great emphasis on comfort and contemporary design. It features art-mosaic work from Italian house Sicis, with a minimal, pared-back exterior.
On site, Crystal Energy has two restaurants, a main swimming pool, a bar, lobby, virtual bowling, a shopping boutique, and a nightly water show, alongside the Fit4Life Fitness Lounge. Guests also have the run of the wider resort’s beaches, pools, dining, and the Euphoria Spa.
The wider resort covers six restaurants. Red Pepper is the main Mediterranean buffet over Cladissos beach, while Seasalt and Rosemary handles Cretan and Greek cooking on the seafront among pine and olive trees. H2O is the à la carte Asian-international venue, set beside the Crystal pool with a nightly water-music-light show.
Précieux serves gourmet Greek and international plates, and the clifftop Safran covers Italian and seafood with Aegean views.
The Euphoria Spa takes its name from the Greek word for an uplifting state of mind, and structures its menu around holistic treatments that go beyond beauty toward health, stress reduction, and recovery, using pure, natural, environmentally friendly products.
The menu covers relaxation, massage, slimming, and anti-ageing treatments. The Fit4Life Fitness Lounge at Crystal Energy handles the gym side.
The Out Of The Blue Capsis Elite Resort spreads across a private peninsula wrapped in a large botanical garden, with sandy and pebble beaches, five swimming pools, and Aegean views throughout.
Beyond the dining and spa, facilities cover a water sports center, a PADI dive center, an open-air cinema, virtual bowling, a shopping arcade, the Capsis Minoan amusement park, and a private chapel. Heraklion city and airport are around 20 minutes away.
The One Bedroom Suite has a modern design with garden, pool, or sea views. The layout covers a master bedroom with full en-suite, a spacious living room with sofa bed, and a separate shower room.
