Bulgari Hotel

Bulgari Hotel

Bvlgari Hotel Roma positions the jewellery house’s Roman origins on Piazza Augusto Imperatore, directly opposite the Mausoleum of Augustus, with Niko Romito cooking on the fifth floor.

At Do Not Disturb, we match you with one of our dedicated luxury travel experts who designs a tailor-made itinerary around how you want your time away to feel. With deep destination knowledge and meticulous planning behind the scenes, we transform complex travel into something effortless and entirely your own.

The world without distraction.

At a glance

Bvlgari Hotel Roma occupies Piazza Augusto Imperatore in Campo Marzio, a contemporary build of 106 rooms and suites that draws its material language from imperial Rome. Travertine, marble, and four colour palettes rooted in ancient Roman history run through every category, from the 33-square-metre Superior Rooms to the full Bvlgari Suite.

The location puts the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Tridente shopping streets within a short walk. The Mausoleum of Augustus sits immediately opposite the hotel’s main facade.

Five dining venues, a 1,500-square-metre spa with a 20-metre pool, and the hotel’s Magnificent Path walking tour, which maps Bvlgari’s history against the city’s monuments, make this a credible base for both the serious Rome itinerary and extended stays. The spa alone, with its Baths of Caracalla references and Augustinus Bader treatment menu, is a rare resort-scale offer for a city-centre property.

In detail

  • Food and Drink

    Food and Drink

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito occupies the fifth floor, with a terrace looking directly over the Mausoleum of Augustus. Romito holds three Michelin stars at his flagship Reale in Abruzzo; his Rome kitchen applies the same precision to an Italian menu calibrated to the setting.

The Bvlgari Bar serves aperitivo and cocktails until 1am, its bar top inlaid with 110 gold-dust Murano glass twirls by Barovier and Toso. Il Caffe sits under the porticos of the piazza, and the Lobby Lounge covers afternoon tea for hotel guests.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

The Bvlgari Spa runs to 1,500 square metres and takes its design reference from ancient Roman bathing culture. Marble columns frame the 20-metre indoor pool, and Bisazza mosaics draw directly from the Baths of Caracalla. Eight treatment rooms include a spa suite with a green onyx bath, and the treatment menu is by Augustinus Bader.

The spa is open daily from 7am to 9pm. For a property inside Rome’s historic centre, the scale and finish of the wellness offer is without obvious comparison.

  • Location

    Location

Campo Marzio is one of Rome’s most historically dense neighbourhoods, and Piazza Augusto Imperatore is at its core. The Pantheon is a 10-minute walk, Piazza Navona slightly less. Via Condotti and the Tridente luxury shopping streets are within easy reach on foot, as are several of the city’s better independent restaurants.

Rome Fiumicino Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Rome Ciampino is closer to 40 minutes. The hotel sits within the ZTL restricted traffic zone; the concierge manages transfers accordingly.

Room Types

Superior Rooms

At 33 square metres, the 22 Superior Rooms are the most compact option in the hotel. Each takes one of four colour palettes drawn from Rome’s imperial history, carried through from the Mediterranean marble bathroom into the fabrics and furnishings. Views look over Piazza Augusto Imperatore or the quieter Via della Frezza.

The right choice for solo travellers or short stays where the priority is access to the hotel’s dining and spa rather than room scale. The marble bathroom specification matches the categories above.

Superior Rooms

Premium Rooms

The 14 Premium Rooms measure 49 square metres, a meaningful step up from the Superior category in floor area and material weight. The four Roman heritage colour palettes anchor the bathroom in Mediterranean marble, which sets the tone for the textiles and furniture throughout. Views face either the piazza or Via della Frezza.

A practical choice for two people wanting more space without moving into suite territory. The additional square metres are felt most in the living area and the proportions of the bathroom.

Deluxe Suites

The Deluxe Suites reach 81 square metres and carry a distinct suite-format layout. Mediterranean marble in the bathroom references Bvlgari’s coloured gemstone archive, with Flos lighting and mosaic roundels adding considered detail across the interior. Views take in Piazza Augusto Imperatore or Via della Frezza, depending on the specific suite.

The right category for stays where the room itself is part of the itinerary. The mosaic and lighting details reward time spent in the space, and the layout gives a genuine separation between living and sleeping areas.

Premium Suites

Two Premium Suites each span 133 square metres, placing them among the largest accommodations in the hotel outside the Bvlgari Suite. Coloured marble bathrooms set the palette for the entire space, with Bvlgari’s jewellery house references carried into the fabrics and furnishings. Views face Piazza Augusto Imperatore or Via della Frezza.

Suited to extended stays or guests for whom space and material quality are the primary criteria. At this scale, the Roman heritage colour work and the marble specification read as a coherent design statement rather than a recurring motif.

The Amalfi Coast offers no shortage of places to spend money well, but Positano and Ravello represent two fundamentally different arguments for how a luxury trip here should feel. Choosing between them is less a matter of preference and more a question of what kind of traveler you actually are.

Chianti’s landscape of cypress-lined ridges, fortified wine estates, and medieval villages has long attracted travelers seeking something more considered than a hotel stay. Here, a villa is not an amenity but the destination itself.

Florence does not perform romance; it simply exists in a state of it. Romance is layered into every palazzo facade, every candlelit trattoria, every view that opens without warning above the rooftops. For couples who travel with intention, Florence poses the ideal Italian honeymoon destination.
