In detail

  • Days 1-4: Bangkok

    Days 1-4: Bangkok

Your journey begins with a warm Thai welcome upon arrival in Bangkok, where a dedicated representative escorts you through fast-track immigration and into the city’s embrace. Check into the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, a peaceful haven overlooking the Chao Phraya River, a dreamy sanctuary from the city’s vibrant pulse.

Over the next few days, explore the capital in style. With your private guide, visit Wat Suthat to hear monks’ melodic chants, stand before the majestic Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, and see the staggering Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. Drift along the river to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.

Experience the city’s modern rhythm, too. Step into the world of Jim Thompson, the visionary behind Thailand’s silk industry, and wander through the canals and markets of Baan Krua Nua, where his legacy lives on. As evening falls, dive into Bangkok’s culinary treasures on a private guided food tour, sampling Michelin-recognized street dishes and ending with cocktails above the glittering skyline.

  • Days 5-6: Ayutthaya

    Days 5-6: Ayutthaya

Depart the capital for Ayutthaya, Thailand’s ancient royal city, pausing en route to explore the peaceful island of Koh Kret – an enclave of artisans, temples, and riverside villages. Here, traditional pottery workshops and hidden monasteries offer a glimpse into rural Thai life.

Continue to Sala Ayutthaya, your riverside retreat, and spend the following day immersed in the beauty of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through magnificent temple ruins –  Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and Wat Mahathat, where the Buddha’s serene face lies entwined in roots.

  • Days 7-10: Chiang Mai

    Days 7-10: Chiang Mai

Fly north to Chiang Mai, the cultural heart of northern Thailand, and settle into the elegant 137 Pillars House, a beautifully restored teak mansion.

Begin with a hands-on cooking experience, joining your chef at a local market to select fresh herbs and spices before preparing regional favorites in a lush garden setting. Explore Chiang Mai’s bustling night markets, where sizzling woks, glowing lanterns, and the scent of lemongrass fill the air.

The following day, connect with Thailand’s most iconic animals during a private visit to Elephant Rescue Park. This ethical sanctuary offers the rare opportunity to walk beside rescued elephants, feed them, and watch them bathe in rivers.

Continue with a visit to Chiang Mai’s hill communities, where verdant rice fields and buffalo-dotted landscapes frame daily life. Learn traditional farming techniques, share meals with locals, and gain insight into the Thai way of life.

  • Days 11–14: Phuket

Explore Koh Yao Noi by bicycle and longtail boat, pausing for a seaside lunch beneath palms and swimming in the jewel-toned waters of Phang Nga Bay.

Evenings are for barefoot luxury. Indulge in sunset cocktails, exquisite Thai dining, and the soothing sound of waves beneath the stars.
