The Little Nell

The Little Nell

The only ski-in, ski-out hotel on Aspen Mountain, holding both Five-Star and Five-Diamond status for 30 consecutive years (a Colorado record), with 92 rooms and suites, the Michelin-recommended Element 47 restaurant, Ajax Tavern, a Wine Spectator Grand Award-holding wine cellar, and immediate slope access.

At Do Not Disturb, we match you with one of our dedicated luxury travel experts who designs a tailor-made itinerary around how you want your time away to feel. With deep destination knowledge and meticulous planning behind the scenes, we transform complex travel into something effortless and entirely your own.

The world without distraction.

At a glance

The only ski-in, ski-out hotel on Aspen Mountain, The Little Nell has held both Five-Star and Five-Diamond status for 30 consecutive years, a record no other Colorado property can match.

That combination of slope access and sustained recognition is what defines the hotel. Guests ski directly from Aspen Mountain to the front door, a convenience that sounds simple but fundamentally changes the rhythm of a ski trip.

Inside, the rooms and suites are designed around Aspen’s relaxed alpine character, sophisticated without being stiff, with every detail calibrated to feel right at altitude rather than transplanted from a city hotel. The dining programme deserves its own mention: Element 47 and Ajax Tavern are both established Aspen institutions, and the hotel’s subterranean wine cellar holds a Wine Spectator Grand Award, one of the most respected recognitions for a hotel wine programme.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

The Little Nell’s wellness concept, branded “Nellness,” draws on the “Aspen Idea”: a philosophy aligning body, mind, and spirit.

Altitude-recovery spa treatments, a private fitness center, smart sleep technology, and custom wellness menus stand alongside seasonal dining and mountain adventures curated by an in-house Adventure Concierge. Wine dinners and signature events add a social dimension to a considered, whole-self approach to a luxury mountain stay.

  • Activities

The Little Nell stands at the foot of Aspen Mountain, giving guests immediate access to a year-round programme of curated adventures.

In winter, exclusive experiences include First Tracks and Snowcat Powder Tours; summer brings fly fishing and off-road touring. A complimentary Audi electric vehicle experience adds a contemporary edge, while an ongoing events calendar covers wine dinners, outdoor films, and community gatherings throughout the year.

Luxury Suites

The Little Nell’s six luxury suites are each named after figures who shaped Aspen’s history, from architect Fritz Benedict, who studied under Frank Lloyd Wright, to the signature Little Nell Suite named after a silver mine from the town’s earliest days.

Ranging from 1,250 to 2,500 square feet, all feature private balconies with Aspen Mountain views, custom-designed furniture, and organic materials throughout. The Paepcke Suite, the largest, is widely considered the premier hotel suite in Aspen.

Napa still sets the benchmark for American wine travel, but it is far from the only place doing it well. Across the US, a handful of regions have built serious reputations for specific grapes, distinct climates, and style of hospitality.

Kenya’s most compelling honeymoon itinerary moves between two entirely different worlds: the wildlife-dense plains of the Maasai Mara and the ancient coral-stone quietude of Lamu Island. Together, they form a journey that is both dramatically varied and precisely calibrated for couples seeking depth over spectacle.
