The Westin Bora Bora Resort and Spa sits on a private stretch of the island’s lagoon, with overwater bungalows extending above the water and beachside villas set along the shoreline. Mount Otemanu rises directly opposite, in view from almost every point across the property. The resort is at the more active, experience-led end of what Bora Bora has to offer.

The Eco Centre is the distinguishing feature. The on-property sanctuary cares for rescued and rehabilitating sea turtles, with guests able to learn from the resident team and observe the conservation work first-hand. It is the only operation of its kind on the island.

There are four restaurants and a bar at the resort, led by Maere as the signature dining experience and a French bistro called Tipanier. Food and Drink

Four restaurants and a bar give the resort more dining variety than most properties on the island. Maere is the signature restaurant, led by a head chef with a frequently changing menu. Tipanier handles French bistro food with a Polynesian influence.

Te Ava covers poolside fare and lighter dishes through the day, while Vara Vara offers more casual meals on the beach. Otemanu Bar faces the mountain directly for sundowners.
Spa and Wellness

Heavenly Spa by Westin runs the wellness side, with treatments built around the brand’s signature programs. The WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio handles cardio and strength alongside an infinity pool that opens onto lagoon views.

The Eco Centre adds an unusual conservation element to the property: a working sanctuary for rescued sea turtles, where guests can observe rehabilitation work or join the resident team for a learning session.
Location

The positioning of the resort on the lagoon allows for Mount Otemanu to be in view from most points across the property. Overwater bungalows extend above the water, and beachside villas line the private shoreline below.

Water sports run from the resort’s stretch of the lagoon, with kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkel gear available. The Bora Bora Airport boat transfer is around 30 minutes, with most guests arriving via Tahiti.
