Beginning in Rio de Janeiro, you’ll experience the city’s famous landmarks alongside its everyday food culture and neighbourhood rhythms. The route continues to the thundering Iguaçu Falls before heading north to Salvador, where colonial architecture, music and history shape daily life. The journey ends on the palm-lined shores of Bahia, allowing time to slow down and reflect after a perfect exploration of the highlights of Brazil.
Your journey begins in Rio de Janeiro, one of the world’s most recognisable cities. After arrival, settle into your hotel near the beach and enjoy time to relax after your flight.
Over the following days, explore Rio’s essential landmarks with a private guide. Ascend Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car for sweeping views over Guanabara Bay, stand beneath the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, and enjoy a traditional barbecue lunch. A separate guided food-focused experience introduces you to local markets, bars and long-standing neighbourhood favourites, offering insight into the city’s everyday culinary culture.
Fly south to Iguaçu Falls, one of the world’s great natural spectacles. From your hotel near the Brazilian side of the falls, take time to appreciate the scale and sound of the cascades from nearby viewpoints.
