You & Me Maldives keeps things strictly for grown-ups. The adults-only island, deep in Raa Atoll and 45 minutes by seaplane from Malé, is built for couples and honeymooners. Of its 109 villas, 99 stand out over the lagoon, many with a private pool and a waterslide into the turquoise.

This resort’s party trick is H2O by Andrea Berton, a 20-seat underwater dining room with a Michelin-starred set menu, the one venue charged separately. The all-inclusive rate takes care of the rest: live cooking stations and a wine cellar at The Sand, teppanyaki showmanship at Rising Sun, beachside Italian at La Pasta, healthy plates poolside at Green Carpet, and a seaside Sushi Bar.

Treatments happen over the water at the Elizabeth Arden Spa, where the rooms look straight down at the lagoon and the product list spans Elizabeth Arden and Hesito.
A yoga pavilion and fitness center complete the picture, with 30- and 60-minute sessions led by qualified instructors: sunrise and sunset yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and aqua fitness. Beach volleyball and beach tennis cover anyone who would rather keep score.
Days off the island skew adventurous. A PADI 5-Star dive center works Raa Atoll’s walls and channels, while seasonal trips head to Hanifaru Bay, the famous gathering ground for mantas and whale sharks.
Closer to home, choose a sunset dolphin cruise, a castaway picnic island, or big game fishing for marlin and sailfish. Nights bring their own program: cultural shows, beach parties, and cinema under the stars.
The Manta Villas overlook the ocean with a sunrise view and a rustic-chic feel, light and airy with polished wooden floors, a king-size bed facing the ocean, a rain shower, and a deck overlooking the lagoon.

The Dolphin Villas sit over the water on the sunset side of the island, opposite the Manta Villas along the same wooden walkway. Each has polished wooden floors, a king-size bed facing the ocean, a sofa, a rain shower, and a seaside deck with direct lagoon access.

The Aqua Suites are larger overwater villas with direct lagoon access and sunrise views, including a spacious bathroom with a couple’s bathtub facing the ocean, a king-size bed, a sofa, and a large outdoor deck.

The You & Me Suite is the largest and most exclusive villa at the resort, with a large bedroom, a bathroom with a couple’s bathtub, a sprawling living space with TV area, a kitchen, and an entertainment room.
