Set on the private island of Muravandhoo in the northern Raa Atoll, JOALI Maldives is the first resort in the country built around art, and the sister property to the wellbeing-focused JOALI BEING nearby. Site-specific works by international artists carry through the villas, the public spaces, and the beaches, including Porky Hefer’s Manta Ray treehouse, which doubles as a private dining room. JOALI Maldives is on the 24-acre island of Muravandhoo in the Raa Atoll, around 280 km north of Malé. It is reached by a 40-minute seaplane flight, or a 35-minute domestic flight to Ifuru Airport followed by a 15-minute speedboat.
