At a glance

Iniala Beach House is a design-led luxury estate on Natai Beach, north of Phuket, its villas and suites each created by a different international designer.

Iniala began as four villas on a quiet stretch of Natai Beach, the mainland coast north of Phuket, and has grown into a collection of around ten, from three-bedroom beachfront villas to one-bedroom residences, suites, and a penthouse, each shaped by a different designer.

The result reads more like a private art estate than a hotel, a living gallery of Thai work with a private pool for every villa. Dining comes from three chefs, including a Michelin-starred chef’s table by Simon Rogan, and each villa comes with its own butler, chef, and spa therapist. The beach extends for miles with almost nothing on it, with the airport half an hour away.

In detail

  • Food and Drink

    Food and Drink

Iniala operates three distinct restaurants, each under its own chef. Aulis Phuket is a Michelin-starred, 15-seat chef’s table from Simon Rogan, built on hyper-local ingredients.

Anaalā is a beachfront barbecue by Ian Kittichai, with shared Thai plates and grilled fish over the sand. The Campana Lounge handles all-day global cooking by the infinity pool. Each villa also comes with its own chef for meals in private.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

Wellness is built into the villas as much as the spa. Each accommodation has a private pool and its own spa therapist, with treatments held in your own space, and two spas on the estate handle longer rituals.

A beachfront infinity pool, a well-equipped gym, and the long, empty sweep of Natai Beach cover the rest, with cycling and canoeing available.

  • Location

    Location

Iniala sits on Natai Beach in Phang Nga, on the mainland just north of Phuket rather than on the island itself, reached over the Sarasin Bridge.

Natai is a long, golden beach with almost no development on it, so the estate has its own private stretch and a real sense of seclusion. Phuket International Airport is about a 20-30 minute drive south.

Northern Thailand operates according to different historical and spiritual logic than the central kingdom. Chiang Mai’s three primary temples reveal this distinction more clearly than any guidebook summary. Lanna, the historical kingdom centered in the north, developed as a separate cultural entity, influenced by Khmer, Burmese, and Mon traditions rather than the centralized Siamese model.
