A 40-minute seaplane flight northwest of Malé brings you to the Raa Atoll, where Heritance Aarah occupies its own island as a premium all-inclusive resort. The property is operated by Heritance Hotels, the Sri Lankan luxury group, and works as one of the more family-friendly options in the Maldives, with children under 12 staying and dining free during set periods.

Accommodation spans beach and overwater categories, from Beach Villas and Sunset Pool Beach Villas through two-bedroom family options, up to Overwater Ocean Suites with private infinity pools and the Ocean Residence with an infinity lap pool.

The premium all-inclusive plan covers seven restaurants and five bars, spa credits, non-motorized water sports, and a butler service. Food and Drink

The premium all-inclusive plan covers seven restaurants. Ranba is the main international and Asian buffet, with overwater venues handling the specialty cuisines: Ambula for Sri Lankan and Maldivian, Baani for contemporary fusion fine dining, Ralu for Mediterranean and French, and Hathaa for Tokyo and Bangkok street food.

Ginifati handles private pod dining over the water, with the Pizza Shack covering casual bites. Five bars include the Ralu Lounge, which stocks the largest rum selection in the Maldives.

Spa and Wellness

Wellness centers on the IASO Medi Spa, which takes a results-driven, medically informed approach alongside traditional treatments, with the premium all-inclusive plan including spa credits and a complimentary wellness consultation. Multi-day wellness packages are available for guests building a stay around the spa.

The wider activity program covers diving, snorkeling, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, jet ski tours, and water skiing across the house reef and lagoon.

Location

Heritance Aarah occupies its own island in the Raa Atoll, in the northern Maldives, around a 40-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport at Malé. The Raa Atoll is one of the country’s larger atolls, known for its house reefs, dive sites, and relative distance from the busier central atolls.

Seaplane transfers run in daylight hours, with the surrounding lagoon and reef accessible directly from the resort.
