Eden Rock occupies a dramatic rocky promontory above the white sands of St Jean Bay, part of Oetker Collection and one of the longest-established luxury hotels in the Caribbean, welcoming guests since the 1950s.
The hotel began as the private home of Rémy de Haenen, a French-Caribbean aviator and adventurer, and the founder’s character of individuality still defines the property today. The 37 rooms, suites, and villas are each designed as a world of their own, layered with fine art, rare books, and unexpected materials. No two are alike. Some are carved into the rock itself; others spill along the beach or sit within tropical gardens.
Dining is overseen by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten across three venues. The Eden Spa uses artisanal Ligne St Barth products made on the island, with collaborations alongside Dr Barbara Sturm. Part of the same Oetker Collection as Le Bristol Paris and The Lanesborough London.
Dining at Eden Rock is overseen by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten across three distinct venues. The Sand Bar serves laidback beachside menus from breakfast through dinner.
The Rémy Bar and Salon, named after the hotel’s founder, handles cocktails in a more refined setting. The Beach Bar overlooks the white sands of St Jean.
The Eden Spa offers treatments and massages using artisanal Ligne St Barth products made on the island, with three private cabins plus the option to be treated in-room or in-villa.

St Jean Bay sits on the northern side of the island, a 10-minute drive from Gustavia and within walking distance of the village’s boutiques and beach clubs. The famously short St Barths airstrip is just over the headland.
