Days 1–3
Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh, where your representative will greet you and assist with your hotel check-in. The capital offers old-world charm with new energy – leafy boulevards, riverside cafés, and lively markets. After time to rest, enjoy a welcome dinner at Malis Restaurant, known for its refined take on traditional Khmer cuisine.
Spend the following day exploring the city’s history. Visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, then see how the country is moving forward at Pour un Sourire d’Enfant, a remarkable social enterprise providing education and training for underprivileged children.
Enjoy a traditional Cambodian lunch at their training restaurant, Le Lotus Blanc, before an afternoon cyclo tour to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and Wat Phnom. End the day with sunset cocktails overlooking the Mekong at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club.
Your third day takes you along the Tonle Sap River by private boat. Pass floating villages and fishing communities, stopping in Koh Chen, where silversmiths craft intricate ornaments used in local ceremonies. A freshly prepared lunch is served on board before returning to the city for a relaxed evening.
