Request a quoteClaridge’s has stood on Brook Street in Mayfair for more than two centuries, and its history runs through the building, from the Art Deco Foyer & Reading Room to suites dressed in Victorian, Art Deco, and contemporary styles. It was included in The World’s 50 Best Hotels for 2026 and voted London’s top hotel in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
The hotel runs a full program of restaurants and bars, a spa built around a heated pool, and a terrace pavilion with a grand piano under a glass roof. Around the corner on Brook’s Mews, Claridge’s Flowers works as the hotel’s own florist.
The location is central Mayfair, with Bond Street a short walk east and Grosvenor Square a minute or two to the west. Hyde Park, the Royal Academy, and the galleries of Cork Street are all within easy walking distance.
Afternoon tea is served in the Foyer & Reading Room, beneath the room’s original Art Deco details. Dante Mayfair is the London home of the New York cocktail bar first opened in Greenwich Village in 1915, serving cocktails and seasonal dishes in the Italian aperitivo style. Claridge’s Bar and The Fumoir handle cocktails and champagne in the evening, while L’Epicerie offers a chef’s table for private dinners, and Claridge’s Bakery serves British baking through the day.
Claridge’s Spa is set around a heated swimming pool beneath a vaulted ceiling held up by stone columns, with private cabanas along its edge. Saunas sit within the changing suites, alongside a steam room and a fitness studio, with personal trainers available in the gym or in your suite. The Pink Room hosts a hammam-style treatment on a heated pink onyx bed, and a wellness concierge arranges visiting experts for treatments from acupuncture to manicures.
Mayfair is best explored on foot from Brook Street, from the shops of Bond Street to the auction houses and art dealers of the surrounding streets. Hyde Park is a short walk west for a morning run or a walk along the Serpentine. Wine at Claridge’s hosts tastings and wine dinners in the hotel’s cellar, which makes an easy evening without leaving the building.
Claridge’s rooms and suites are decorated in a range of styles, from Victorian detail to Art Deco and contemporary interiors. Many look out over the red-brick rooftops of Mayfair, a short walk from Bond Street and Grosvenor Square.
The Terrace Suites each open onto a private outdoor space, from the Mews Terrace above the historic mews to the Grand Terrace and the Mayfair Terrace Suite, which looks over the Mayfair rooftops. The Corner Terrace Suite has bay windows that open onto its terrace, and the Terrace Junior Suite has a balcony or terrace with a bistro table for breakfast outside.
The Royal Suite pays tribute to Claridge’s long connections with the royal family, with crystal chandeliers, gold detailing, and a grand piano in the living room. It looks out above the Mayfair rooftops and is laid out for both quiet stays and private celebrations.
The Penthouse takes up the entire rooftop of Claridge’s, with four bedrooms that sleep up to eight and views across the London skyline in every direction. Designed by Rémi Tessier, its two wings meet around a water sculpture by Andrew Ewing, and the rooms hold more than 80 artworks chosen with Damien Hirst. Outside, a private rooftop terrace and garden surround a heated pool and a piano pavilion, and a 24-hour Claridge’s butler looks after every stay.
