The resort takes its name from the olive trees (“maslina” is Croatian for olive) preserved throughout its grounds on Maslinica Bay, a short walk from Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in the eastern Adriatic. The design follows the same logic: Brač stone, brushed brass and terracotta throughout, with most rooms angled to wake up to the sea rather than the garden.
Pharomatiq Wellness covers 600 square meters and includes a sea-view gym, a cold plunge pool, and an aqua-thermal circuit of saunas and steam rooms, indoors and out. Two heated saltwater pools sit among the olive trees, one kept quiet for adults, the other set up for families, and an organic kitchen garden on-site supplies the restaurant, bar and spa alike.
For a Hvar stay built around quiet rather than Hvar Town’s busier social scene, the resort holds its own without losing any polish, and pairs naturally with a wellness-led leg of a longer Croatia itinerary.
