The resort draws on Mughal building traditions, with exposed red brick, water channels, fruit trees, and shaded walkways laid out across the grounds. It carries LEED Platinum certification for its environmental performance. There are 233 rooms and suites, from Mughal Rooms through Mughal Chambers to the Royal Mughal Suite, many overlooking the lawns and water features.

Four dining venues cover the range, from northwest frontier grills to a multi-cuisine restaurant open around the clock. Kaya Kalp, The Royal Spa anchors the wellness offer, joined by the Firdaus outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre with sauna and steam rooms. The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are both a short drive away.

    Peshawri serves northwest frontier cooking, with kebabs and freshly baked breads from an open display kitchen. Taj Bano covers a buffet of Indian and international dishes across the day. Mughal Pavilion is the all-day, multi-cuisine option, open round the clock for à la carte meals.

    Maikhana, the lobby bar, pours drinks in a quieter lounge setting at the entrance level, with happy hour in the evenings.

    Spa and Wellness

    Kaya Kalp, The Royal Spa is the resort’s wellness centre, a calm complex with separate lounges for men and women. The treatment list covers Ayurvedic therapies, body scrubs and wraps, facials, scalp and hair work, and couples’ massages.

    Facilities include a lap pool, plunge pool, steam room, therapy bath, and foot baths. A 24-hour fitness centre with sauna and cardio equipment rounds out the offer.

    The resort lies in the Taj Ganj area of Agra, around 4 kilometres from the Taj Mahal and close to Agra Fort. Kheria Airport is about 10 kilometres away, with Delhi’s international airport roughly 240 kilometres north.

    Beyond the main monuments, day trips reach Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, and Sikandra, the tomb of Emperor Akbar. The concierge arranges guided tours to all of these sites.
