Armani Hotel, Milan

Armani Hotel, Milan

Giorgio Armani’s only hotel occupies the upper floors of a 1930s Rationalist building on Via Manzoni, with every detail designed by Armani himself.

At Do Not Disturb, we match you with one of our dedicated luxury travel experts who designs a tailor-made itinerary around how you want your time away to feel. With deep destination knowledge and meticulous planning behind the scenes, we transform complex travel into something effortless and entirely your own.

The world without distraction.

At a glance

The Armani Hotel Milano takes the seventh through ninth floors of a 1930s Rationalist building at Via Manzoni 31, one of Milan’s most quietly prestigious addresses. The entrance is deliberately discreet; the lift delivers you to the seventh floor, where reception, bar, and restaurant open onto city skyline views in a space that reads more as a private apartment than a hotel lobby. Giorgio Armani designed every element, and the Armani Casa furnishings, marble bathrooms, and signature palette of pearl, silver, and honey are consistent throughout all 95 rooms and suites.

Via Manzoni connects the Brera design district to the Quadrilatero della Moda, putting the shops of Via Montenapoleone, the Pinacoteca di Brera, and Teatro alla Scala all within a short walk.

The case for staying here is specific: a hotel designed as a complete creative work by a single person, with a rooftop bar named a Star Bar by Forbes Travel Guide 2025, a restaurant worth booking independently, and a spa on the eighth floor that has actual views rather than a basement position.

In detail

  • Food and Drink

    Food and Drink

Armani/Ristorante sits on the seventh floor under Executive Chef Francesco Mascheroni, who works a menu of contemporary Italian cuisine built around seasonal ingredients, with balance and restraint as the guiding principle rather than flourish.

Armani/Bamboo Bar occupies the same floor and operates differently: a rooftop cocktail bar with a backlit onyx counter, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the skyline, and a casual menu running from brunch through late evening. Forbes Travel Guide named it a Star Bar for 2025. Regular DJ sets, live pianists, and singers begin from aperitivo hour.

  • Spa and Wellness

    Spa and Wellness

The spa sits on the eighth floor, an uncommon position that allows for floor-to-ceiling windows and direct city views. Facilities include a pool, treatment rooms, gym, sauna, and steam room, with the upper-floor siting giving the wellness areas a quality of light that basement hotel spas cannot match.

The elevated position is the defining detail. Most city hotel spas operate without natural light; this one does not, and that distinction is felt across every part of the facility.

  • Location

    Location

Via Manzoni runs between the Quadrilatero della Moda and the Brera design district, placing the hotel within walking distance of Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, the Pinacoteca di Brera, Teatro alla Scala, and Corso Como. The neighbourhood is residential in character above street level, which keeps the immediate surroundings quiet despite the central position.

Milan Linate Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car. Milan Malpensa is around 50 minutes. The Montenapoleone metro station is a short walk, connecting directly to Milano Centrale and the wider city network.

Room Types

Rooms

The standard rooms run larger than most five-star properties in Milan manage at this tier, finished in pearl, silver, and honey with Armani Casa furnishings throughout. Each room opens through a vestibule, an enclosed antechamber that separates the corridor from the bedroom and gives the floor a level of acoustic privacy unusual even at this price point. Marble bathrooms include monsoon showers and deep soaking tubs. In-room iPads control lighting, temperature, curtains, and streaming. Rooms on the Via Manzoni side look directly onto one of the city’s most elegant streets.

The right choice for a first stay: the standard room here outperforms the junior suite at most comparable Milan hotels on both size and finish.

Executive Suites

The Executive Suites run to 80 square meters, with a step up in material quality and bespoke fabrics alongside the additional space. A connected two-bedroom configuration links an Executive Suite with a second room to reach 135 square meters total, with the floor plan creating a clear separation between sleeping and living areas.

The two-bedroom configuration suits couples who want a dedicated living space or those traveling with a companion who requires a private room, without the commitment of a full suite tier.

Signature and Presidential Suites

Three suites occupy the top of the hotel. The Signature Suite with Gym is a 200 square meter duplex built around a sweeping elliptical staircase with a private fitness space integrated into the floor plan. The Presidential Suite and the two-bedroom Milano Suite, both on the sixth floor, open onto panoramic terraces with direct Duomo views. The Milano Suite adds a private kitchen and dining area across 224 square meters.

For extended stays or for travelers who require full residential facilities alongside the hotel’s services, the Milano Suite is the specific choice. The Signature Suite is the one to book for the architecture alone.

The Amalfi Coast offers no shortage of places to spend money well, but Positano and Ravello represent two fundamentally different arguments for how a luxury trip here should feel. Choosing between them is less a matter of preference and more a question of what kind of traveler you actually are.

Chianti’s landscape of cypress-lined ridges, fortified wine estates, and medieval villages has long attracted travelers seeking something more considered than a hotel stay. Here, a villa is not an amenity but the destination itself.

Florence does not perform romance; it simply exists in a state of it. Romance is layered into every palazzo facade, every candlelit trattoria, every view that opens without warning above the rooftops. For couples who travel with intention, Florence poses the ideal Italian honeymoon destination.
