    Arrive on Crete’s western coast, where your private driver will meet you for the transfer to your boutique hotel in Chania. Once settled, take the afternoon to unwind by the pool or wander along the waterfront promenade. The Venetian harbour glows in the evening light, and local tavernas offer a relaxed first taste of Crete’s cuisine.

    Day 2: Discovering Chania’s Old Town

    Meet your private guide for a morning walking tour through Chania’s historic old town. Wander past stunning Venetian architecture, Ottoman mosques and colourful markets that tell the story of the island’s past. Visit the lighthouse, explore the Maritime Museum, or stop for a coffee in the shaded backstreets.

    In the afternoon, enjoy time at leisure – perhaps browsing local boutiques or relaxing at a café overlooking the harbour. Dinner tonight could be at one of Chania’s refined seaside restaurants, where traditional Greek dishes are given a modern twist.

    Travel to a nearby village for a hands-on cooking experience set in an 18th-century olive mill. After your class, sit down to a shared meal accompanied by regional wine and conversation with your hosts.

    Later, return to Chania for a gentle evening stroll or a nightcap beside the harbour.
