Arrive in Iceland and meet your private driver for a smooth transfer to Reykjavik. On the way, stop at the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa surrounded by lava fields. Unwind in its mineral-rich waters and let the natural warmth ease your journey into Icelandic life. In the evening, join a small-group Northern Lights chase, travelling beyond the city to watch the aurora dance across the Arctic night sky.
Spend the day discovering Reykjavik at your own pace. Visit Hallgrímskirkja Church for panoramic views, stroll along the harbour, and stop by landmarks such as Höfði House and Lake Tjörnin. Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Akureyri, often called the capital of North Iceland. After settling in, set out on another Northern Lights excursion, heading into the stillness of Iceland’s northern countryside. Explore the Lake Mývatn region, known for its volcanic and geothermal landscapes. Visit Goðafoss Waterfall, the ‘Waterfall of the Gods,’ then wander through the dramatic lava fields of Dimmuborgir and the bubbling Hverir Mud Pools. Stand at the divide between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates before unwinding in the Mývatn Nature Baths, surrounded by steam and snow-covered peaks.
Fly back to Reykjavik and travel west into the Silver Circle, a region filled with geothermal and cultural highlights.
